Our Memory Support buildings/wings are designed to facilitate the care of our seniors in a number of ways, including a community area called Main Street, designed to look like an old-fashioned line of shops, enclosed outdoor gardens and central patios where residents can safely enjoy sunshine and fresh air, windows and skylights throughout to maximize the natural light, and continuous floor plans so residents can walk without reaching dead ends. Furnishings are classic yet comfortable, so seniors feel right at home as soon as they walk through the door.
Innovative Care
Each community features advances in care including Multisensory Rooms, an industry-leading concept that helps sooth Alzheimer’s patients and promote positive interactions with staff and family members, multisensory life skill centers equipped with familiar objects, and one-of-a-kind interactive environments in the hallways where residents can draw shapes, play games, and move objects around simply by touching the wall.
All of these advances in care are designed to provide a calming effect on residents living with Alzheimer’s Disease and can reduce the risk of aggressive behavior, improve their overall mood, and even reduce the amount of medication needed.
